The Latest Tidbits July 12, 2001...

The bad news is offset by the good. In May this year, Song Corp, our Canadian distributor finally succumed to its financial woes. It closed its doors and left us and 80 odd other labels without distribution. This was a major event in the history of the Canadian music industry and repercussions will be felt, no doubt, for years to come.

The good news is our search of a new distributor is over and we selected PHD Distribution (Canada) Ltd as our new partner. Located in Vancouver, British Columbia, PHD had many impressive attributes that caught our eyes. We are extremely happy with the arrangement in place.

We are now scrambling to get David Gogo's Halfway to Memphis release project back on track. Wyckham Porteous' new sexanddrinking album is being readied for release on the Cordova Bay Records label and our catalog is being revamped and reintroduced to Canadian retail stores.

These are exciting times...

With Sonya Marie's CD "One Kiss Closer To Heaven" we are able to present the best in country swing the way it is meant to be played. Produced by Tony Quarrington who produced the Juno Award Winning "Heartstrings" recently for Willie P Bennett, this album is a real heart warmer.
